Elise Flagg Academy of Dance Dress Code
Ballet Uniform
The selected leotards are designed to suit EFAD’s dress requirement standards and create a uniform appearance in the classroom.
New EFAD dancers will be allowed up to a two-week grace period, after enrolling, with confirmation of order. During the grace period, dancers will be expected to wear a black leotard. After the grace period, dancers who do not follow the dress code will not be allowed to participate in class.

NOTE: Male dancers should purchase the Lulli Boys Leggings Emanual in the corresponding leotard color for their level. To be worn with a white leotard.
Dress Code and Supplies
Ballet & Pre-Pointe: Ballet uniform, pink convertible tights and pink canvas ballet slippers. Hair must be pulled back into a clean bun.
Pointe: Ballet uniform, pink convertible tights and Elise-approved pink pointe shoes with pink, satin ribbons and thin toe pads.
Contemporary: Black Leotard of choice, black leggings and dance socks (optional). Hair must be pulled back from face, in a ponytail or bun.
Jazz:Leotard of choice, black leggings and nude or black jazz shoes. Hair must be pulled back from face, in a ponytail or bun.
Modern: Black leotard and black footless tights. Hair must be pulled back from face, in a clean bun.
Pilates: Leotard of choice and black leggings or leotard and footless tights from class.
Conditioning Equipment & Supplies (All Students A-E): Mid to heavy padded mat, magic circle, theraband, Lacrosse Ball/Hand Ball/Pinky Ball, 1lb or 2lb hand weights (levels C1 and up), Mini Loop Band/Resistance Loop Band (Medium strength for Intermediate Students and Heavy Strength for Advanced Students), Extra Long Resistance Band/TheraBand (9.8 feet/ 3m in length & 6”/15cm wide, Medium Strength), Fusion Ball/Soft Stability Ball/Pilates Soft Ball (20-23cm in diameter), Exercise Ball/Swill Ball/Fit Ball (Use dancer’s height and weight to size up ball.):
Under 4’8” - 45 cm ball
4’8” to 5’3” - 55 cm ball
5’4” - 5’10” - 65 cm ball
5’10” - 6’4” - 75 cm ball
For children 5 years and younger, always use a 45 cm ball.
